Over the past weekwnd, 45 youths from Kanker, a Left Wing Extremist district in Chhattisgarh, enrolled in OPJCC Punjipathra for training in our Heavy Earth Moving Machine mechanic certificate course. They are the first batch from Kanker, thanks to the efforts of Astt. Director CSSDA Kanker Mr. Anekant Jain in collaboration with OPJCC. Some of the youths have never been out of their village before boarding the bus for the 400 kilometer trip to OPJCC. Most of them aspire to work as mechanics and operators.
