Smt. Savitri Jindal, Smt. Shallu Jindal, and Chairman Shri Naveen Jindal graced the occasion of the official launch of OP Jindal Community College in Uchringa. The college recently shifted five kilometers from its earlier location at the plant site to its new, multi-crores, state-of-the art vocational training facility. Ret. Wg. Cdr. Principal G. Singh and HOP Mr. H. Singh presided over a moving tribute to Shri OP Jindal who stressed developing a skilled, competent, globally competitive workforce, especially from among disadvantaged populations. This year, OPJCC Uchringa's (Patratu) goal is to provide high quality, holistic training to over 500 people for employment in mechanical, electrical, and construction trades, as well as offer an array of community programmes to take advantage of its excellent infrastructure. OPJCC is grateful to the Jindal Foundation for its support of vocational training for adults to take India ahead!
